GPS Tracker FAQ

Bluhuski tracking devices have rechargeable batteries and you can see the level of charge on the tracking panel, you also have the facility to set up a low battery text message alert via the panel to any mobile telephone.
This depends on the battery used on the tracking device and the way it is used. For example a tracking device that is monitoring the whereabouts of a valuable asset may only need to report once a day on battery save mode, on certain tracking devices this could mean the battery would last in excess of 12 months, should you require a device to report every 10 seconds this will reduce the battery life, some models lasting 7 days others up to 4 months depending on tracking device model, the number of reports will be dictated by how much the item moves that is being tracked. All devices will “communicate” with the tracking panel every 4 hours even if the item has not moved, this ensures you are always confident the tracking device is working correctly, this feature is only disabled in battery save mode.
Certain models within the Bluhuski tracking device range have an SOS button, when pressed for a few seconds this will send an alert to the tracking panel and to up to 4 mobile numbers that have previously been specified. This SOS facility can be switched on/off on the tracking panel.
